Email Migration to .Gov Progress

[Apr] Phase 1: Email Aliases

  • Add a .gov alias to primary emails. 2025-03-26
  • Add a .gov alias to any aliases. 2025-03-26
  • Set the primary .gov alias so it can be sent from by default. 2025-04-12

[May] Phase 2: Groups

  • Give all groups .gov alises and notify owners.
  • Grant send-as group for users where already set.
  • Notify SSO OAuth/SAML providers of pending changes.

[Jun] Phase 3: Domain Update

  • Update domain so accounts will have .gov primary accounts.
  • Update SSO OAuth/SAML providers
